FS25 - Ray County, Missouri
A downloadable game
Please READ through the entire description as many questions that you have can be answered below.
Ray County, Missouri is a standard sized FS25 map that is representative of its real-life location. Listed below are features of the project:
- Utilizes real elevation data with accurate road, farm, railroad, and field placement.
- Nearly all buildings in the map are custom made for the project.
- Multi-angle terrain, alfalfa, NH3, starter fertilizer, two UAN fertilizers, corn stalk & soybean straw bales, propane, dry corn.
- Custom soil map to use with Precision Farming that turns each field into "yield zones". Areas of each field will yield better or worse depending on factors such as slope, proximity to trees, ditches, etc.
- Seasonal items for both farm houses as well as weather effects on the paved roads.
- All farm buildings and decorative items can be sold.
- Custom weather and adjusted lighting.
- Custom corn, soybean, and alfalfa textures.
- Custom train and railcars.
- Custom cattle pasture (does not produce slurry or manure)
- Custom calf weaning pen (does produce manure if you place the custom manure heap placeable). Refer to the to image for proper placement.
- Custom pig enclosure with animated feeder lids.
- Custom COOP buildings accurately based off of a cooperative in Chula, Missouri (must purchase farmland 50 to have access to COOP features).
- Animated moisture probe on the scales.
- Ability to purchase bulk seed, seed totes, or individual seed bags.
- Ability to purchase bulk liquid fertilizer/herbicide or totes.
- Ability to purchase individual bags of mineral feed.
- Animated catwalk for bulk liquid fill.
- Ability to purchase dry fertilizer in bulk or large bags.
- Ability to dry corn, store grain, sell grain outright, or sell grain by rail.
- Livestock market with building based off of one in Unionville, Missouri.
- Can also purchase propane, NH3, Starter fertilizer, UAN fertilizers, and fuel.
- Please refer to all infographics for information on functionality and triggers.
- Custom pig feed that gives you flexibility on what you use for feed.
- Animated water in crossings.
- Seasonal static deer, turkey, and hunting blinds that may appear at anytime.
- Far more accurate land prices, commodity prices, yields and usages. Set your economic difficulty to "hard" for the most realistic numbers.
I would like to thank all those who tested the map, gave feedback, and ultimately made it what it is. Many of you are 100% against Patreon, but here is another FREE project for the community to enjoy that would not have ever gotten off the ground if it weren't for all of those folks who were a part of the process. That being said, if you would like to see more content from me, please consider donating when you download the project. If you want to wait until you test out the map and then come back and re-download it just to donate, that would be greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoy all that has been poured into this project!
If you want everything to function in the map you will need the following:
- LJR Modding Fence Pack - https://ljr-modding.itch.io/fs25-american-fence-and-gates (check out all his work - he probably puts out more stuff than any other modder).
- If you use Precision Farming you will need ThundrFS Precision Farming Configurator - https://thundrfs.itch.io/fs25-precision-farming-configurator
- The grinder/mixer that comes with the map is custom to the food requirements for pigs on Ray County and you don't need to download anything for it to work properly on this map. If you would like a grinder/mixer to use on standard maps that don't have custom feed, check out Green Acres Modding over the next couple weeks - https://green-acres-modding.itch.io/
- There is no public anhydrous equipment that works with "NH3" that I know of. If you would like some equipment that will function on the map, either edit some anhydrous equipment to accept "NH3" yourself or check out OS Modding & Mapping's Patreon page - https://www.patreon.com/OSfarms

Amazing work, wow!!!
great map! but on field 31 32 and 13 GPS does not work with anything i have tried
I cant see the ground
Hi, really great map. I’m experiencing an issue with the map in.
The trigger points for filling and unloading silos are not appearing in-game. There are no obvious errors in the modDesc or XML files, and the
l10n_de.xml
seems to be correctly set up. The following is displayed in the build menu for map own productions and silos "function_farmSiloAugerFillingS in |10n_de.xml". The log does not show critical errors, but the silos remain non-functional.Is there a known bug or fix available for this?
Which bins are you referring to? North farm? South farm? COOP?
You need an augur
I just want to comment and say how grateful I am for this map. I enjoyed hours of time on Loma, and am excited to see this release for FS25. Ignore the unproductive comments and criticism. You're one of the best map makers out here!
for some reason when I download the map and put it in my game and go to start a savegame it just loads at 63 percen
You have a mod conflict somewhere. When testers had this issue, it always came back to some mod they had in their folder.
Direct drilling doesnt seem to work, atleast on field 26.
No issues on other fields?
simple map, love the location, no required mods, thanks for this, would love to see more.
The quality of the map itself is fantastic. You can feel the effort and work put into the detail of this map. Great work!
Unfortunately, the performance is sub-par. Like others have mentioned, some 4x maps such as Judith plains or other standard size maps like Alma, Missouri run significantly better across all hardware. I can push 200+ frames per second on a map like Alma, and 100+ on Judith Plains (4x map). Upon loading shaders completely, even before buying any equipment, this map hovers around 80-90 frames per second. Of course, 80-90 frames per second is completely playable and then some. The point more-so is that there must be an optimization issue or something else causing the map performance to be sub-par. Otherwise, it is a fantastic work of art and probably one of the best maps for FS25 thus far. I hope the performance gets fixed!
I have no answer for this. My texture filepaths are short and my folders are clean. The only difference between the maps you mentioned and mine is that Ray County has far more dense foliage and trees than those maps. That is really the only difference that I can come up with and it is one that I'm not willing to compromise on because I think it is one of the most important and immersive aspects of a map. I will sacrifice framerate all day to have a realistic looking environment, but maybe that is just me.
I'm probably being really dumb but I can't figure out how to get propane into the propane tank to dry corn? I've never messed around with corn drying before. Any help? I LOVE the map btw!
Also, one of the bins was full at 9,500/243,000L?
You'll need a trailer to haul propane. A Google search will find you one. Purchase propane at the COOP and pull in front of the propane tank at the farm to fill it. Once it is full, stand in front of the tank and hit the key to "manage production". Once at the menu, you will need to change the propane tank from "storing" to "distributing" and give it a few hours in-game time. It will distribute propane to each bin. When you put wet corn in the bin using an auger, you need to stand in front of the bin and access its production menu. In that menu you need to activate the dryer to start drying corn. You will see how much propane, wet corn, and dry corn you have in that menu as well.
I was getting a bit bored with FS25 and this just brought a lot of life back to the game. Thank You for all the hard work! I found a glitch here, move around this area, looks like you're having a seizure. Three times now when looking around as images are jumpy, I'll warp to field 4 falling from the sky. (update: drive a tractor here too, it lifts off the ground)
I will check this out. Not sure what it would be.
so we have to pay or mod to use anhydrous
Or you can wait for modders to release anhydrous.
or play a different map
Sorry, I don't make implements. The best thing you can dois reach out to those who already have released some equipment and ask them to add "NH3" as a filltype. It would take them five minutes. Or, like you said, you can just play another map.
Very nice. There are several missing function errors in the placeable construction menu for many of your custom silo placeables.
I will look into it. Thank you.
What a good map i love it. Thank you
This map is amazing! Saw it a while back and never got around to trying it. Played for 10 minutes and instantly fell in love with it. Only issues so far are alfalfa bales not feeding to cattle barns and milled pig food turning to corn when placed in silo.
Side question: How do I feed the 20x80 harvestore? Can't seem to find a silage blower and I imagine I need some carts as well but those I can find on itch.
Again, phenomenal map. More realistic than GIANTS maps and quite possibly the best mod map I have ever seen.
Appreciate the compliments. Here is a link to a blower for the Harvestore
https://bslmodding.itch.io/fs25-international-56-blower
You should be able to feed alfalfa hay to cows. I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say "milled pig food".....
thanks for the blower link! Sorry for the lack of context on the pig food. I was referring to the ground up feed with the gehl mixer. I placed it in a small silo and it turned to corn. This could be because I filled it using the Powertools mod. I’ll try again in the morning
Toss PowerTools and use Easy Dev Controls. Much more functionality and control.
Looks great man! I did see a few missing l10n definitions in the store placeables you may want to check, but I love the layout and style you brought to this. Will be starting a save on it for sure!!
Thank you. I will check them out.
Your welcome. Short of those, this is a killer map. I am adding it to my save game rotation.
awesome man thank YOU!!
Fantastic map, well done and thank you!
great work any plans to make it RCR?
Never could get RCR to work well, especially after the latest couple updates from Giants. Maybe someone will figure it out moving forward.
Thank you, I love your beautiful map.
it’s finally here worth the wait thank you 😊 can’t wait too play on this map
it's been an honour to be a part of the process!
One of the best maps to date! Great job No Creek!
Congrats man. It's been great to see this map evolve and come together.
You keep cooking! Great job man!
